Eric, Laurel, and Stevie's Contribution

For our contribution this week, I thought we’d share a recent decision we’ve made.

We’ve chosen a family mission statement for our little family.

Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house•, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God; (Doctrine and Covenants 88:119)

This is what we’ve chosen to focus on doing as we work towards building an eternal family. Right now we’re working on having a house of prayer by holding family prayer every night. We’ve been doing pretty well at this since making the goal a few weeks ago, but we can always do a little better.
