Temple Trip
My review of the Joseph Smith movie: Wow. Very well made. It is a bit graphic at points, extremely emotional, and simply wonderful. And there was a lot to see at the visitor's center -- the church commercials on family, a display of Jerusalem, and scenes from the Book of Mormon. And the temporary display was on African-Americans. One of the ones pictured is from my ward. I spent about four hours at the visitor's center, because some of the people went to do a session. Afterwards, we had lunch at a diner and then drove back to B. V. And then we watched the improv comedy troupe perform. They had a competition going, where two teams would play the same game and judges would score them. For example, they would perform a Shakespeare play, either a tragedy where everyone ends up dead at the end or a comedy (which in this case involved shoelaces tied together).
