Adam got his first acceptance letter for law school today - hooray! It's for American University here in DC, which is actually the lowest ranked school that he applied for and his last choice. But hey! That's one so far and no rejection letters (although we pretty much expect that from Harvard, just to be realistic), so law school can now officially be considered a Done Deal.
The opening ceremonies for the Olympics just began on TV - be forewarned if you're watching it tonight that there's a full hour on NBC of "human interest" stories before the ceremonies actually start. And they look ... interesting. Very modern art-ish.
