The pictures of Summer taken at the hospital are up - 13 of them.
Tawnia and Mindy - we got your package yesterday. Thank you! The outfits are very cute, but she won't be able to wear them for a while because they're way too big. The 0-3 month size is apparently assuming that you start with a 10-pound baby, and Summer is just now hitting 7 pounds. Her doctor appointment on Tuesday weighed her in at 6 lb 15 oz. She put on an entire pound in 12 days, since she was at 6-flat when we were discharged at the hospital, so she is putting on weight at a good pace but she's still pretty small.

She probably actually lost weight for the first week, which is pretty standard. Considering that little fact that gain is really good. I guess a lot of folks don't know about that because their kid isn't usually being weighed every 12 hours the way Stevie was for his first three weeks.
Yeah, I knew she'd lose weight right at first. She isn't weighed every 12 hours like Stevie was, but in 2 weeks, we went to the doctor 3 times for "wellness" checks. That's plenty for me. She was 6-9 when she was born on Tuesday, 6-flat when we were discharged from the hospital on Thursday, 6-6 that Saturday at her first check ... I forget what she was at her 1-week check the next Tuesday. And at her 2-week check, she was 6-15. We don't go back again until her 1-month birthday.
