stuff

Summer got Eric and Laurel's package yesterday - thank you!! It was a cute dress, a package of pajamas, and a little blanket.

Also, she wore the dress that Tawnia and Mindy sent to church today - it was still pretty big on her, but it fit her better than most other things we have for her. The sweater was rather unweildy, but I put it on her anyway because our church building can be pretty cold (and it was today). We took a couple of pictures when we got home from church of her wearing the outfit, with and without the sweater.

I have a ... concern about Tawnia's idea of the Day at the Beach at the reunion ... an all-day thing would be way too much for Summer. Stevie may be able to handle it (but what about his naps?) but Summer is going to be only about 10 weeks old. She needs someplace quiet and comfortable to eat and sleep, and carting her around in her carrier won't work because so far, she hates it. Also, there's no shade at the beach and I don't want Summer in the direct sun. So if we do end up heading to the coast, this idea would need to be seriously modified. We'd also need a Plan B in case the weather is bad at the coast, which is frequently is.
