Well, here's the plan. Anyone that would like to go to the beach... I am going on Wednesday during the reunion. Jared and his family are joining with Mindy, Emily, and I. Anyone else that would like to go, please just let me know. I'm not sure when we'll be leaving, or when exactly we will get back... but there you have it. The girls will probably spend a little time at the outlet mall, and we'll most likely do lunch out there. So that's the plan. Mom and Dad, we would like to borrow the van. Jared will drive it.
As our family grows bigger, it is very likely that not everyone is going to want to join in on every activity. It is normal (and good) that there are differing opinions. When it comes to some plans we will just have to realize that different people are going to want to do different things at the same times.... and then on some things, people will just have to put aside their dislikes and join in. That's the way life is.

That's fine. We figured that either (1) Jared would opt out of going and you would go on Saturday or (2) you would go on Wednesday. Those who don't go will still have fun here at home. I don't think we'll have time, though, for the scavenger hunt. That was another option for Wednesday. What do you guys think?
I don't see why we can't go to the beach AND do the scavenger hunt on Wednesday. The scavenger hunt we had talked about paring down to a few hours. How long were y'all planning on spending at the beach? Several hours, sure, but not all day long. What's going on Monday, anyway? Couldn't the scavenger hunt happen Monday, if you do want to spend ALL DAY at the beach?
