Sure hope you're enjoying your cold icy birthday. I'm glad the weather was good yesterday so we could go spend the evening with you. We had lots of fun and dinner was delicious. Thanks so much.
Dad's school is closed today and mine is running two hours late so I have a little extra time this morning. I hope everyone is safe and warm. I'll post my January hike soon so check for it.

Well, I guess we can count cross-country skiing as a hike, just this once.
Oh, you wore snowshoes? In that case, it definitely counts! That's like ultra-hiking!
It was cold and clear yesterday so no snow shoes but it's snowing now and right after I posted I got the call that school is closed for the day.
