Just a little pic from Google Earth of our new neighborhood... tomorrow's my last day at WaMu. Ten days after that I'll be driving up to Monterey for the first time. Good stuff.
Wow - awesome! Adam definitely wants to come visit you in Monterey. Have you found at least a short-term lease on an apartment so you have somewhere to live until you can find something more permanent? How are you working out those details?
Trina - we'd love to have you over. Maybe I could give him a tour of DLI and we could check out the aquarium. It's supposed to be among the best in the world.
We have an apartment set up. Laurel drove up to Monterey and took care of it Monday. She did a few days of research and made a bunch of calls a few days prior. She's pretty amazing how she gets things done.
Skippy - First, nice beard. Second, I don't know if the picture is of smog and/or zombies. Like I said, I found it while playing with Google Earth, and haven't actually been to Monterey yet. I do know that deaths from smog and/or zombie attacks are much fewer in Monterey than the national average, so don't worry about us. It's much more likely that I'll die from a synchnonized attack by a pack of sea lions.

Looks pretty yellow. Is that from smog? and are those zombies? I hope you don't get eaten.
